Telos Edizioni: Innovation and Inclusion in Children's Literature

Telos Edizioni, founded in 2017 by Luana Astore, is an independent publishing house known for its innovative approach to children’s literature. The MuMu – Multimedia and Multilingual series is the first in Italy to combine printed and animated digital formats, with multilingual content. Aimed at preschool children, the series fosters learning and inclusion, promoting the discovery of reading in a multilingual context.

MuMu was designed by Luana Astore and Teresa Porcella, with animations by Giacomo Guccinelli and digital development supported by PubCoder. The digital versions feature animations and interactive elements that enrich the reading experience. Among the titles are HEY, NOT SO FAST!, WHY?, and SAY IT! which help children discover reading independently and engagingly, through interactive and multimedia storytelling.

The collaboration with PubCoder has been essential for both the creation and distribution of the content. The publishing house used PubCoder’s innovative tools to produce the digital books and relied on Shelf for content sales. Shelf includes a web platform and native apps for iOS and Android.

Shelf enabled Telos Edizioni to offer engaging, interactive learning experiences while ensuring easy and versatile access to materials for educators and families across multiple devices.
